The month of August in Burgos offers us all these sensations. So that you can enjoy them, this edition of Go! August collects the best leisure and culture offers in the city. As always, it will be pocket-sized, and you can carry it on your mobile to consult it whenever you need it. An animated, visual, interactive magazine. A new format full of surprises.
Viva la vida cycle
During the month of August, the Viva la vida concert series continues. A luxury cycle in reduced format for this atypical summer. Throughout this month artists such as Viva Sweden, Second, Ara Malikian or Guitarricadelafuente, among others, will pass through the stage of the Palacio de la Isla gardens. ‘Viva La Vida’ is promoted in 40 cities by festival organizers. In Burgos, Aranda and Valladolid the cycle goes hand in hand with ‘Planeta Sonoro’ (Sonorama Ribera). The initiative is joined by the City Council of Burgos, Ibercaja and the Cajacírculo Foundation.
‘Culture with designation of origin’ of the IMC
A cultural summer with Denomination of Origin organized by the IMC. Theater, music, dance, circus, exhibitions … and even a drive-in! More than 100 activities until September in which local artists will be the protagonists. The events will take place in different areas of Burgos: Castillo de Burgos, Palacio de la Isla (Gardens), Gamonal (Patio of CEIP Fernando de Rojas), South Zone (Civic Center of San Agustín) Monastery of San Juan (Church) and Museum del Retablo (Church of San Esteban).
Also, exhibitions, activities of interest, workshops for children, interviews… And all the bars and restaurants so that you always know where to go (or make you more indecisive because you want to visit them all). Come discover the Go Magazine! August with us!
