Thanks to this agreement, the Galician municipal markets now also available on the Glovo app are: La Plaza de Lugo Market in A Coruña, Elviña Market, Santiago de Compostela Market, Pontevedra Municipal Market, O Calvario Market in Vigo, Quiroga Ballesteros Market in Lugo, Ourense Market and Magdalena in Ferrol.
Between the more than 2,500 references, Users will be able to buy meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, bread, sausages, among other fresh and local products, which they will receive at home or anywhere in the city in about 30 minutes on average.
In addition, users can make their purchase at various market stalls in a single shopping cart and receive them comfortably at home in the same order, matching the experience that the user has in person when going to the market. The stock and the price of the products are updated every day, thus ensuring that they are the same fresh products that users could physically find in said markets.
At a national level and in this first phase of launch, Glovo collaborates with 17 municipal markets located in Madrid, Oviedo, Bilbao, Ferrol, A Coruña, Elviña, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, Vigo, Lugo, Ourense, Santander, Burgos, Málaga and Alicante, and plans to add eleven shops in the coming months.
