Globe-Traveller presents its new six-meter campervan at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The Falcon 2YS relies on a fresh and special interior concept.
The basis of the Falcon 2YS is the 5.99 meter long VW Crafter, which Globe-Traveller only offers with all-wheel drive. The headroom in the camper is 207 cm at the front and 193 cm at the back.

The modern designed camper van comes with one Rear seating groupwhich is converted into a bed at night. The bathroom, however, is located at the front of the vehicle. Globe-Traveller has not previously had a floor plan like this in its model portfolio.

The new Globe-Traveller Campervan Falcon 2YS comes with a rear seating area that can be converted into a bed at night. The removable back panel can be seen at the back of the window.
A special feature is this removable back panel in front of the rear doors. Especially in the cooler half of the year, it ensures a more comfortable feeling of space in the rear seating area or in the beds and improved thermal insulation. In addition, the warm interior air cannot easily escape when you have to open the rear doors to access the storage space. The back panel can be easily removed on warmer days. Then you can enjoy the beautiful view through the windows on three sides.
Like all other Globe Traveler models, the Falcon 2YS has one Doppelbodenwhich houses the water tanks (90 liters of fresh water and 85 liters of waste water), as well as excellent thermal insulation and modern on-board electrical systems. A 120 Wp solar module and a powerful lithium iron phosphate battery (210 Ah) are standard equipment.

The roof of the Falcon 2YS Camper was designed by Globe-Traveller itself and is made from one Epoxy sandwich composite material manufactured.
Despite the compact dimensions, the interior offers plenty of space. At night, campers build a 205 centimeter long bed out of the seating area in the rear. The headboard of the bed frame can be folded up to provide a comfortable, semi-upright position for reading. In addition, the rear doors can be covered with the removable rear wall for more comfort.

And the bathroom is also relatively spacious. It has a Clesana dry toilet, shower head and a folding sink with a round mirror above it. Two open shelves offer storage space for shampoo etc. The towel hooks are also practical. Visually, the bathroom has a light marble look. Black handles and fittings create a chic contrast.

Travelers can use the Falcon 2YS table in various ways. It has a swivel and extendable base and can be easily moved, folded and dismantled. It can be set up either on the large rear seating area or at the front with the turned driver’s cab seats as a small “breakfast seating area”. If the table is not needed, it can be stowed behind the driver’s seat on the outside wall of the sanitary room.

The table in the Falcon 2YS is versatile. It can be mounted either in the rear area next to the seating area or at the front next to the passenger seat.
The kitchen block is on the right of the sliding door and promises to offer enough storage space for supplies and cooking utensils with numerous drawers and cupboards. The 70-liter compressor refrigerator follows the kitchen unit and is installed at a height that is easy to reach.

Despite the rear seating area, there is still plenty of space in the rear for all sorts of luggage. However, the rear storage space is not high enough for bicycles. Visually, the expansion of the Globe-Traveller Falcon 2YS is an eye-catcher. The combination of white furniture and wood-look surfaces together with the gray upholstery gives the campervan a modern and fresh look.

The unusual floor plan and chic and contemporary design of the Globe-Traveller Falcon 2YS are likely to cause a stir at the Caravan Salon. However, it is not a bargain for 128,615 euros, which is not surprising given the high-quality equipment and numerous special features.
