At the ministerial roundtable meeting that ended today (26th) afternoon, China formally proposed the Beijing Initiative, which was supported by 25 countries and international organizations. This is China’s effort to promote global development initiatives and implement the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. agenda and promote sustainable transportation development. The “Beijing Initiative” supports the regular holding of the Global Sustainable Transport Summit Forum and strives to build it into an important international ministerial forum to better promote global transportation cooperation.
The bilingual version of the “2022 China Sustainable Transportation Development Report” promotes and introduces my country’s sustainable transportation development concepts and latest practices. As the most important landmark achievement of this forum, it is proposed to establish the Global Sustainable Transportation Innovation Alliance. Currently, 42 well-known domestic and foreign companies, financial institutions, universities, etc. have applied to become founding members of the alliance.
During the Global Sustainable Transportation Summit Forum, a number of cooperation documents were also signed.
