Sponsor Formula E Jakarta began to unfold. There are beer companies to tire factories that are included in the list of sponsors of the electric car racing event.
The Jakarta E-Prix sponsorship is posted on the Jakarta E-Prix website. Chief Executive of Formula E Jakarta Ahmad Sahroni said the sponsors listed on the official website were not domestic sponsors, but global sponsors of Formula E Operation (FEO).
“It’s true, it’s the sponsor of the Global Formula E Operation, not a domestic affair,” said Ahmad Sahroni when confirmed, Wednesday (25/5/2022).
There are at least four types of sponsors for Formula E, namely main sponsors, global sponsors, technical sponsors, and partners. Sponsors consist of a number of companies. These include beer company Heineken, wine company Moët & Chandon, luxury watch company TAG Heuher and courier service company DHL.
Other companies include BOSS, Antofagasta PLC, Enel X Way, Copper.co, Bosch, Allianz, and the airline company Saudia. As for domestic sponsors, the committee will announce in the near future.
“We will inform domestic sponsors later, I hope today We’re releasing it,” he said.
Previously, Jakpro claimed to have obtained a sponsor for Formula E Jakarta. Jakpro promised to announce the names of the sponsors next week.
“Alhamdulillah sponsorship there are already some, quite a lot. In terms of industry, I can say that there are quite a variety of things that become sponsorship us,” said Director of Jakpro Gunung Kartiko in Ancol, North Jakarta, Thursday (19/5/2022).
Gunung was reluctant to specify which companies sponsored Formula E. He only mentioned that sponsors came from various industries, from banking to automotive.
“The first is from local banks, private banks, then there are also national ones, digital companies also exist, then electricity company, power company yes, F&B; (food and beverage) there are also some, we also exist hospitality hospitality, then in terms of health there are, telco company and automotive,” he said.
Gunung said his party would announce the list of sponsors of Formula E Jakarta next week. He said his party was still finalizing the process of signing contracts with several companies.
“The details of what we will convey at a separate time because in a few moments we will still be signing another contract. So God willing, we will update later in the next week, but we can say that these are industries that have already done sponsorship with us,” he said.
