The tournament saw the participation of over 2,000 players of different nationalities and only a few will fight to become the best CS: GO team in America. Participating teams include Furious Gaming, Isurus, Meta Gaming, 9Z Academy, Mad Kings, Windingo, Daoutsu, Sotano Gamer, and River Plate Gaming, among others.
The cup is a joint accomplishment of Global teams, reference company in the world of eSports games and tournaments e MediaHub Groupleading production company in the audiovisual, television and digital sectors, which creates, produces and executes the most demanding projects in the region.
From Global Squads, its manager Jonatan Cisterna, comments: “We are delighted to have a disruptive CS: GO America Super Cup, which contributes in a healthy way to competitiveness in various sectors of the industry. With the Pro League, FIReLEAGUE, LVP’s Unity League and CBCS as eSports partner in 2022, it is the first tournament that promotes the development and union of competitions on the continent. Currently, with more than 10 participating countries, there is no tournament that has a final stage of such magnitude as the Supercopa de América CS: GO, in the region ”.
Similarly, Cisterna adds: “We want this cup to become the CS: GO Copa Libertadores, supporting various competitions and teams, thus seeking to strengthen the regional esports scene.”
The final of the tournament will be played in first person with live broadcast, on 30 September, open to the public, with free admission and limited capacity (pre-registrations available shortly, through the Copa social channels).
All matches will be streamed via the Cup’s Twitch channel and with the support of co-streamers in multiple countries and languages, which is expected to have an audience of over 5 million viewers across the Americas.
