Dr. John Jabbour, director of the WHO office in Cairo, said that with regard to another case of coronavirus infection that went out through the airport in Egypt, the organization collected these statements and their information and it was sent to the officials in Cairo.
Jabour affirmed that this matter is still under investigation in Cairo, and no specific decision has been confirmed so far, pointing out that the organization did it and presented the matter to the officials, but does not interfere with other than the ongoing investigations.
This came during the press conference of the World Health Organization for the Middle East Office in Cairo today on the latest developments in the emerging disease virus “COVID-19” in the Eastern Mediterranean Region, in the presence of global health officials.
The World Health Organization has announced in a joint statement with the Ministry of Health the results of the tests of a foreign person infected with Coronavirus in Egypt.
