WhatsApp was restored at 8:30 p.m. this Wednesday after suffering a crash that lasted half an hour. Minutes after eight in the afternoon, numerous users detected problems in the instant messaging application. They could not send or receive messages.
The Downdetector page, where users report incidents with various applications and telephone services, has experienced a spike in the Whatsapp section.

Likewise, Instagram and Facebook have also suffered technical problems throughout the afternoon.
Those who use WhatsApp web have had difficulties accessing it. “Service not available,” they report from the application.
As usually happens in these cases, citizens go to X (formerly Twitter) to report their problems. Such has been the avalanche of messages that WhatsApp has become a global trending topic.
Less than a month ago, META, which also owns Instagram and Facebook, suffered serious problems in its applications. Both social networks went down worldwide for two hours. This failure occurred on March 5, when a problem around 4:30 p.m. prevented millions of users from accessing their accounts.
