While Twitter Blue has been officially launched for some time now, it has only been rolled out to select countries. A situation that is already changing, since they announced that it is now available worldwide.
So if you want to try the benefits of this paid subscription, it may already be available in your country, or it may be implemented in the next few days.
What Twitter Blue offers
In recent months, Twitter has been updating the benefits of having the Twitter Blue subscription. However, most users did not have access to this subscription as it was only available in a few countries.
A limit that Twitter is changing, since it is extending the possibility of having this subscription worldwide. While it hasn’t announced any new features for Twitter Blue along with this announcement, the subscription already comes with a number of benefits.
For example, it allows you to have subscribers the famous blue check mark:
All Twitter Blue features will be available immediately, except for the blue check mark, which will appear on eligible profiles after a review to ensure subscribed accounts meet all eligibility criteria.
As for the rest of the functions, we find the possibility of editing a tweet within a period of 30 minutes, loading of longer videos (up to 60 minutes long or 2GB maximum) and the famous 280-character tweets.
There are also some features that allow users to customize some aspects of their account, such as app icons, themes for Twitter, or the ability to organize saved tweets into folders.
And on the other hand, there are Twitter Blue features that have yet to be implemented. For example, that subscribers’ tweets have priority in a conversation, or that they see half the ads on Twitter. Functions that will be deployed during the year.
