Playing at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, Italy started the first half by trying to dominate the game. Their chances were created from the feet of Emerson and Domenico Berardi but could be broken by the North Macedonian defender.
In the first 15 minutes, Italy was able to control the ball as much as almost 80 percent. But every time he had a chance to make a final chance, it was always blocked by the opposing player. The opposing goalkeeper has not received a significant challenge.

A barrage of attacks from Italy was immediately intensified at the beginning of the second half. Opened with a Berardi shot that was blocked by the opposing defender.
Berardi created another chance from a deep penetration from the right flank, finding space to shoot but his shot couldn’t beat Dimitrievski on this second occasion.
