After ninety days, the fourth season of ‘Big Brother’ is over. Closing is done in style and with a winner. That’s another Belgian: Glenn (32) from Stekene goes home with the prize pool.
“I certainly can’t handle losing well,” Glenn said at the start of his great adventure in Big Brother. Fortunately, after 78 days of staying in the house, he emerged as the winner. He had to compete against two Dutchmen. Randy came third, Alice ultimately finished with silver.
He was clearly surprised by the win, and was immediately overwhelmed by his fellow candidates in hugs. When presenters Tatyana Beloy and Geraldine Kemper found him again, he could start his acceptance speech: “Thank you to Big Brother itself for giving me this opportunity. I took everything out. Big Brother himself also ensured that this was a wonderful adventure. I got to know wonderful residents. I’m so happy, but I never expected this. Thank you!”
He had promised in advance that he would propose to his girlfriend – who was present with their two children – at the end of his acceptance speech, but that did not happen. Perhaps overwhelmed and overwhelmed by emotions.

Thanks to his winnings, he makes off with the pot of money. This is slightly lower than last year, at 56,266 euros. Just last week, Tyron took a large portion of the pot after an unrefusable proposal from Big Brother himself. He left without saying goodbye to his fellow residents, but with 15,000 euros in his pocket.
As the winner, Glenn will probably not let it bother him. Big Brother praised him just before his departure: “Thank you for always having a listening ear for the other residents and for turning all my games into great competitions.”
He also got to see his highlights, including the message from his daughter who obtained a new swimming diploma. Something that brought tears, just like the freezing moment with his son and girlfriend. What will he always remember about his participation? “Those beautiful friendships with all those beautiful residents here, the house, Big Brother itself, everything actually,” he said.
