Glenn de Blois did quite well this season with a few placings in the top ten at World Cup competitions. It went wrong for the Dutch snowboarder in the most important competition, the Beijing Olympics. De Blois finished in the rear in the qualifications of the cross and was then immediately eliminated in the eighth finals.
