PEOPLE – Lookalike competitions are definitely popular across the Atlantic. After Timothée Chalamet arriving in the middle of his in New York, it is now Glen Powell who was entitled to his lookalike competition in Texas. Several hundred participants gathered in Austin to try to look as much as possible like the man who plays Lieutenant Jake “Hangman” in Top Gun : Maverick. If the actor was not present on site, he promised the big winner to offer one of his relatives a small role in his next film.
Maxwell Braunstein, a medical assistant in Austin, took home the victory and some gifts: a $5 bill, a cowboy hat and free food at a local taco restaurant, says the local media outlet Fox 7.
