BOLZANO – The Canadian Glen Hanlon returned to the Italian hockey club HC Bolzano, who replaced Swede Niklas Sundblad as head coach. The team from the international ICE Hockey League reported about it on its official website.
The former coach of Slovakia led Bolzano to victory in the regular season last season and then to the playoff final. His team finally lost only in the seventh match against Salzburg. He is not doing well in the new season, winning only one out of five duels.
“I am very, very happy to be back in Bolzano. I know the beginning of the season was difficult, but I know what the guys can do. The mental aspect is fundamental in hockey. You have to believe that you can win,” he told the official site.
