Glen Faria releases a new studio album ten years after his debut album. The album, called FARIAcomes out Friday.
“I see this record as the conclusion of ten years of highs and lows. Sometimes I burst with happiness, sometimes I was in a thousand pieces on the ground with misery,” says the 43-year-old rapper.
In 2019, Faria’s brother Melvin died, after which the artist decided to make his own album again. “After all those moments, I had to piece myself together again. Always with new insights. I mainly concluded how important my childhood was for how I deal with things now. How it has shaped me.”
The album contains twelve songs. A few of those songs previously appeared as singles, such as How do you know that in Back To Now.
Faria had his big break in 2018 when Davina Michelle participated in… Dear Singers scored a hit with his song Takes too long. Tino Martin also did well in the charts with a song by Faria (She knows).
