CONAKRY- this is good news for Guinean football. While the country does not yet have an approved stadium that can host high-level international matches, work on the General Lansana Conté stadium in Nongo will finally be launched.
This Friday, a ceremony to launch activities for the renovation of the enclosure will take place. At least that’s what we learn from a reliable source at the Ministry of Sports. This implies that the national Syli of Guinea should therefore be able to receive its matches in the Guinean capital and be able to commune with its supporters. Remember that these emergency works are launched by the transition in power which wants to make the stadium available to the public. The company selected for its work says it is already ready to start the said work. It should be noted that the September 28 stadium should also undergo a touch-up soon, we learn.
