British band Glass Animals’ new album, titled ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’, will be released on July 19, 2024, and the single ‘Creatures In Heaven’ is the first look at 10 cherished love stories set against the backdrop of The universe.
I Love You So F***ing Much is the follow-up to 2020’s critically acclaimed Dreamland, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and gave life to Heat Waves, the biggest international hit by a British band to date.
It’s the first single-writer-producer song to reach #1 since Pharell’s “Happy,” and the biggest acts in the pop world, including Florence Welch, wanted to work with Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley.
But making I Love You So F***ing Much is an existential step forward for Dave, who has struggled for years to make sense of this newfound global fame.
“Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you’re not able to change that fast on a personal level. You feel like a spectator. And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But… I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point where I didn’t know who I was or if anything was real. The universe may make us feel overwhelmingly small, but we have a connection that is much grander and more mysterious. Love comes in an infinite number of ways, in different shapes and sizes. It’s so complex and so powerful that even witnessing the slightest sign of it can change your life forever,” shares Dave.
