Department of Education and Culture • The Glarus Culture Prize will be presented to the writer Eveline Hasler on April 29, 2023 during a matinee at the Anna Göldi Museum in Ennenda.
At the end of 2022, the government council announced that the Glarner Kulturpreis 2023 would be awarded to the writer Eveline Hasler (media release). The CHF 20,000 prize will be awarded on April 29, 2023 as part of a Matinee im Anna Göldi Museum presented in Ennenda. The architecture of the Hänggiturm and the museum located there form the appropriate setting for the culture award celebration, after Eveline Hasler created a literary classic in 1982 with her first historical biography “Anna Göldin – Last Witch”, which deals with the last execution of a woman as a witch in Europe .
