In the end, with each production company voluntarily recommending and submitting, a total of 44 dramas were received for recommendation. It is worth mentioning that this ceremony has specially set up a “Special Contribution Award” to commend and thank those who have made outstanding contributions to the foundation and development of Chinese musicals. Mr. Xu Xiaozhong, a 96-year-old drama educator, director and artist, professor and doctoral supervisor at the Central Academy of Drama, won this honor. As a pioneer of Chinese musicals, he has made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese musicals.
