Gladiators hope for recoveries – 5 FOUR

While Guard Dan Monteroso’s first diagnosis revealed a torn muscle fiber and a downtime of at least three weeks, the other gladiators are on the mend. Derrick Gordon is expected again in team training and should be available again for the home game against Vechta next Sunday. Austin Wiley and Enosch Wolf are also slowly starting their advanced training. Both Wiley and Wolf have started their first runs and exercises. At Enosch Wolf, a plan carefully coordinated under medical supervision is followed after his concussion. When he can start team training again depends on the symptoms that occur after exercise and can therefore not be clearly determined. Austin Wiley has to go after his Tibial head fracture be carefully set up and will most likely start team training again after mid-November.

“Dan’s injury is very upsetting for us and we’re just sorry for the boy. He is always very positive, takes the team with him and is therefore very important for the cohesion of the group. He will have to take on this role from outside the field for the next few weeks, which is a shame. Nevertheless, we are convinced that our team will also make up for this failure. Of course we hope that Dan will get fit again as soon as possible and that he can help us again. But there is also positive news. The development at Austin and Enosch is currently looking very good. Both are slowly starting their training and continue to work hard on their comeback.
