Mönchengladbach . After the Bundesliga schedule for the 2021/22 season was published at the end of June, the exact schedule for the first six match days has now been set. During this period, Borussia competes once on Friday evening, once on Saturday afternoon and twice on Saturday evening, once on Sunday afternoon and once on Sunday evening.

Gladbach with a colorful mix of approaches
It was already clear at the end of June that Gladbach would open the new season with a home game against champions Bayern Munich on Friday evening (August 13th / 8.30 p.m.). Now five more match days have been scheduled precisely.
The two away games following the opening game against Bayern will take place on Saturday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and on Sunday, August 29 at 3:30 p.m. at 1. FC Union Berlin.

This is followed by the home game against Arminia Bielefeld on the fourth Bundesliga matchday, which will be played on Sunday, September 12th. The kick-off time for this game is at 7.30 p.m. due to the previous international break and the associated omission of the Friday evening game.

On the fifth day of the game, the foal eleven will compete at FC Augsburg on Saturday, September 18, at 3:30 p.m. A week later, on Saturday, September 25th, at 6.30 p.m., there will be a reunion with ex-coach Marco Rose (44) and a duel with Borussia Dortmund in the top game of the day.
