Since the first outbreak in 2020, the Corona theme has had a firm grip on Germany. In 2022, everyone is still talking about the global pandemic, as there are still numerous outbreaks of the disease despite vaccination and good treatment options.
The corona virus is also still a topic at Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach. Since Thursday (November 17, 2022) there is even a dedicated test center on the club premises at Borussia Park. The club announced it on its website.
Gladbach with its own test center in Borussia Park
There is now a certified corona test center in Borussia Park. It is located at the end of the “Borussia-8-Grad” building in the direction of the P11 parking lot and can be reached quickly and barrier-free by everyone.
Previously, Borussia’s previous main sponsor, the ‘Postbank’ had set up a small branch on the premises there. Since retiring as sponsor, however, it has been empty.
The test center has been operating there since Thursday (November 17). Citizens can initially be tested for Covid-19 on site Monday to Friday from 7am to 11am. But: if there is more demand, the timing can be adjusted, explains the club in one Home page message.
“Although we hope for a mild Corona winter, we look forward to everyone who wants to have a simple and uncomplicated test at Borussia Park and hope that we can make a contribution to overall comfort and safety,” explains Dr. doctor Ralf Doyscher (47), head of medicine at Borussia.

Appointments in the new Corona test center in Borussia Park can be made online at https://testzentrum.borussia.de be booked and are also available at short notice.
Since it is an officially certified Corona test center, everyone who is tested there receives an officially valid test certificate by email or via the Corona-WarnApp.
Borussia also underlines that the general conditions for city tests (free or at the price of three euros) apply and that PCR tests will also be offered shortly.
