Give me the vaccine, patients with covid are asking in the US on their deathbed. It’s too late for that

In her Facebook post, Dr. Brytney Cobian of Alabama describes experiences with particularly serious cases of patients with covid-19. He confirms that this mainly concerns the unvaccinated, and calls on everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible. It is too late to apply for the vaccine before the person is connected to pulmonary ventilation, she said.

“One of the last things you do before intubation is ask me to get vaccinated,” the doctor writes on Facebook. “I’ll hold your hand and say, I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”

She confirms from her practice that many of those infected with a severe course of covid-19 die and, according to her, are young people who are not vaccinated.

Even if it is too late for the patient, the doctor will try to persuade at least the relatives to get vaccinated. But often, according to her, they still believe in false news or underestimate the disease.
