There are hundreds of elderly people in need that the Association “USMIVKA” Burgas supports regularly with its TimeHeroes missions. All of them have received many products over the years, for which we THANK our noble Donors.
Among them are many disadvantaged children, as well as those housed in various social institutions, to whom Mrs. Mitka Georgieva and the team of the Association pay special attention and always make efforts to provide something special not only during holidays .
On top of one of the happiest holidays for children – Christmas, the team of the Association, supported by the Municipality of Burgas, mobilizes again to give happiness to over 250 children (between 2 and 14 years old) from poor families in Burgas and the region, as well as those from children’s homes, sheltered housing, socially weak families and those attending the Burgas Community Center.
But our help would be unthinkable without your participation and support.
We invite all adults and children with good hearts, for whom participation in such a campaign would be an expression of faith in goodness, faith that helping is “Mission Possible and Very Noble”.
We all remember that beautiful song by the unforgettable Emil Dimitrov “Ako si dal” – “If you gave the poor even a crumb of bread, YOU HAVE NOT LIVED IN VAIN!”
Therefore, we invite all of you to help us again in our noble cause, to make happy 300 children, if possible more, whose faces would light up at the sight of the gift.
And what could be better than seeing children’s faces shining with happiness – because all children love gifts.
What should I send?
You can send one or several things from the following sample list:
- chocolate/treat, biscuits
- natural juice; seasonal fruits
- school supplies – for example, backpack, notebook, kit, felt-tip pens, paints, chemicals;
- new children’s clothes – socks, blouses, t-shirts, hats – new
- favorite children’s book – for children between 2 and 18 years old;
- toy – for children between 2 and 14 years old, plush toys:
- gift bag.
The request of the “USMIVKA” Association team is that the toys and books you send be new. Everything donated will be distributed by the “SMILE” team so that there is a package for each child and it is appropriate for their age.
Vouchers are also accepted, with which the organizers will be able to purchase missing products for the children.
