Give away an exclusive hour at the Sparrenburg

(11.11.2020) Anyone looking for a gift idea for Christmas that also works under Corona conditions can give away a very special experience at the Sparrenburg: a “picnic with a view”. Maybe an extraordinary idea for a romantic rendezvous? Bielefeld Marketing is offering 24 new dates from January 9th to March 28th 2021 on Saturdays and Sundays from 5pm to 6pm for this special highlight.

At a height of 31.5 meters, the participants not only get the most beautiful panoramic view of Bielefeld. The historical walls become a private refuge for an exclusive hour. An East Westphalian picnic package with snacks and drinks ensures culinary enjoyment. The offer is also weatherproof. In the cold season and in bad weather, the picnic is set up inside the tower. The top of the tower is accessible at any time. On warmer days, the picnic takes place on top of the platform.

The “picnic with a view” can be booked as a couple or as a group of up to five people (in compliance with the Corona Protection Ordinance applicable at the time). The offer is available from 99 euros (for two people) and can also be booked as a voucher in Bielefeld online shop.

The tourist information in the New Town Hall is currently open for advice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Mondays the tourist information can be reached by telephone on 0521-516999 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
