Dubai Police General Command concludes its participation in the GITEX International Technology Exhibition 2022, where it continued to showcase its latest technologies, innovations and services containing artificial intelligence technology, aimed at improving the safety, security and happiness of members of the community.
The Dubai police platform has seen a large turnout of visitors to the GITEX exhibition in the five days since its launch, who expressed their admiration for all the services provided and enjoyed seeing the “Ghiath” smart patrols, which are considered one of the most advanced security vehicles in the world, and have advantages and capabilities that meet the requirements of the police, it allows you to maintain the leading position of the best international security patrol standards.
Visitors were also briefed on the “Drone Box” system, which is a platform for launching automated drones, as well as the new version of the Dubai Police smart application, which includes innovative functionalities and features in 7 languages.
Visitors listened to an explanation of the services of the ecrime platform, which deals with receiving reports and complaints of Internet-related crimes, such as electronic extortion, hacking and financial fraud offenses for remittances and illegal use of credit cards, as well as reviewing the services available on the Dubai Social, Criminal and Traffic Police website, among others.
Visitors also listened to an explanation of the “Athar” platform service, which aims to ensure the documentation of all the procedures of the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology, through a “digital system” that helps reduce transaction completion times and ease of access to information, unifying intelligent systems and linking them with other criminal systems, and were informed about the applications of “virtual games” provided by the General Administration of Intelligent Services for training and didactic purposes.
A number of visitors also participated in the “Capture the Flag” competition, at the Dubai police platform, which aims to improve cyber security skills and competences for young people and future generations, with the aim of taking targeting people with experience and knowledge and discovering talents in the world of modern technologies.
