Domestic experts have analyzed how the price of spare parts for different models of the AvtoVAZ concern has changed in the lists of the Russian Union of Automobile Insurers. In the end, experts came to the conclusion that since March 2022 their cost has increased by up to 180%, and one of the reasons for this abnormal increase in prices is the shortage of components and materials necessary for the production of spare parts.
In particular, the experts noted that the average prices for block headlights SHE GIVES IT they were at the level of 7.5 thousand rubles, while in December they increased by 71%, reaching almost 13 thousand. Another example was the cost of the left rear door, whose prices rose from 11,000 to 20,000. According to experts, the biggest increase occurred in October, when insurers noticed the depletion of spare parts in warehouses. Thus, the headlight assembly showed the largest price increase for the period from October to December – from 3,776 rubles to 10,684, which is a fabulous 183%.
PCA is convinced that the cost of components directly depends on how high their demand is during repairs, which is why the rapidly increasing cost of, for example, rear left doors that have been replaced over 1000 times. AvtoVAZ got acquainted with the results of the corresponding study, but the representatives of the concern could not confirm the correctness of the results obtained by the specialists.
