Giselle Peliko, the woman who for a decade was drugged by her husband Dominique so that she could be raped by dozens of men whom he invited to their home, while filming these moments, gave a new testimony in court.
Taking the podium, Peliko said she wanted to address her husband, but saying she didn’t want to look at him“So many times, I told myself how lucky I am to have you by my side.” He said he stood by her when he thought she was ill with neurological problems, which were later found to be caused by drugs he secretly gave her to drug her.
“He took me to a neurologist when I was worried. He also went to the gynecologist with me. For me, he was someone I trusted completely.” She said:How can the perfect man have reached this point? How could you betray me to such an extent? How could you? How could you bring these strangers into my bedroom?’

During the hearings, Peliko “hear these women, mothers, sisters say that their loved ones, the defendants, are extraordinary men…”. “I had the same thing at my house” he said.
At another point he emphasized:The profile of a rapist is not someone you meet in a car park late at night. A rapist can also be found in the family, among our friends. I saw one of the defendants in the dock last week who entered my bedroom and home without consent. This man, who came to rape an unconscious, then 57-year-old woman – who is also a mother and a grandmother… I could have been his grandmother.”
“Rapists should be ashamed, not victims”
“I am a woman who is completely destroyed and I don’t know how I will be able to recover from this. But I want this society to change”Peliko emphasized.
«I wanted all women victims of rape – not only when they are drugged, rape exists at all levels – I want these women to say: “Peliko did it, we can do it too”. When you rush there is shame, and it’s not us who should be ashamed – it’s them (ie the rushers)”she added.
