The famous case of Gisele Pelicot, who for many years was drugged by men found by her husband, Dominque Pelicot, on the Internet, continues in France.
The testimony of one of her rapists, 37-year-old Andy Rodriguez, a father of two, is once again shocking. Rodriguez, who said he has been drinking and doing drugs since he was 14, admitted having sex with Gisele Pelicot but denied raping him.
He, like many of the other defendants, claim they had no idea the 72-year-old was drugged and assumed it was all part of a “consensual scenario” between Pelicot and his wife.
“I was in a bar when a man came up to me and said ‘my wife likes you, would you like to sleep with her while I watch?’ I agreed and it happened that same night, it was New Year’s Eve as I had nothing else to do. I had fallen out with my brothers because of my drinking and drug habit so I went to Pelicot’s house. I never meant to rush Mrs. Pelicot,” he said, as she looked at him and shook her head.
