In court with a cane
Dominic Pelico was due to appear last week at the trial, but his appearance was delayed due to health problems. Today, he appeared in court with a cane.
Poor health, cited by Peliko, led judges to postpone his hearing several times last week. His lawyer had previously said he wanted to use the hearing to apologize to his family.
The indictment
Prosecutors have said Dominic Pelico offered sex with his wife on a website and recorded the abuse. In addition to Dominique Pelico, 50 other men accused of taking part are on trial, which is being held in the city of Avignon. The other men have so far not commented on whether or not they accept the charges.
