Ferrero Polska Commercial, which produces, among others, Kinder Niespodzianki, which is very popular in Poland, is voluntarily withdrawing its products from stores. The reason is a possible link to an outbreak of food poisoning caused by Salmonella Typhimuriumze.
Popular products, sweets, and Ferrero Polska Commercial companies have been voluntarily withdrawn from store shelves. They are products from a Belgian confectionery factory. The information on this subject was published by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate in Poland a few days ago.
Today (04/11/22) this information has been updated and the list of withdrawn products has been joined by new ones that could hit store shelves. After the discovery of a potential threat, the following actions were taken:
- the company informed customers and started the process of withdrawing the above-mentioned products from the market,
- informed logistics operators in order to block and isolate the above-mentioned products in warehouses,
- informed the media,
- informed consumers on its websites
Products from the lot covered by the message should not be eaten. If symptoms of food poisoning occur after consuming the above-mentioned products, consult a physician.
