AC Milan won a friendly match against a Greek club, Panathinaikos. Rossoneri won 2-1 thanks to two goals scored Olivier Giroud.
The friendly match between Milan vs Panathinaikos was held at the Nereo Rocco Stadium, Sunday (15/8/2021) early morning WIB. The red devil appear dominant by releasing 12 shots (5 on target) and controlling the ball 61 percent.
Milan managed to score a goal when the game entered the 16th minute. Fikayo Tomori sent a long pass which was received by Giroud with a first time shot. The ball slid into the goal of Panathinaikos, while bringing Rossoneri winning 1-0.
Olivier Giroud scored again in the 43rd minute. New striker AC Milan it heads Davide Calabria’s cross into the net Panathinaikos. Stefano Pioli’s squad won 2-0 until half-time.
Panathinaikos appeared more pressing in the second half to catch up. The club nicknamed Semanggi scored in the 77th minute through the efforts of substitute, Fotis Ioannidis.
Ioannidis’ goal was the only goal in the second half. The match ended with Milan’s 2-1 win over Panathinaikos.
