Gironde: which beaches are still monitored in September?

To dive into the ocean safely without being afraid of the bad waters, it is recommended to swim under the guidance of lifeguards. Several of them are on duty until mid-September.

To avoid drama and accident in with women on the Atlantic coastit is recommended to favor beaches where the swimming is supervised. Despite the departure of a large number of holidays, there are still several beaches in Gironde in September.

This weekend of Saturday September 7 and Sunday September 8, most of the beaches stretching from Teste-de-Buch to Soulac sur Mer are still under the protection of lifeguards. Le Petit NiceLa Lagune, La Corniche, La Salie Nord and even Lac de Cazaux have a first aid station open from noon to 6:30 p.m.

Looking forward to mid-September

The Girondins which extend the holidays in their area and tourists who prefer the end of the season also benefit from supervised beaches until the weekend of September 14 and 15, always from noon to 6:30 p.m. The municipalities that offer this service will be slightly smaller though.

To see a flag flying on the search poles, you must therefore favor the northern beach of Lacanau, the beaches of Grand Crohot, Truc vert and Horizon in Lège-Cap-Ferret or the beach of Gressier in Porge.
