On Wednesday July 20, 2022, a dispute reportedly took place between the mayor of Louchats (Gironde), Philippe Carreyreand a man.
The mayor says he was verbally and physically assaulted after refusing passage to a man.
Philippe Carreyre would have been transported to the CHU Pellegrin of Bordeauxat the emergency center for victims of aggression (CAUVA).
An ongoing investigation
A complaint was lodged by the mayor for death threats and violence on a person entrusted with a public service mission.
The man who lives in the area in turn filed a complaint for violence against Philippe Carreyre, Friday July 22.
A police investigation is in progress to determine what happened.
