Elan is a Belgian Malinois shepherd, engaged on operational missions. The dog has disappeared from the home of his master, a specialized firefighter, located at the La Cabanne residence in Cadarsac since January 14. Research began immediately in the area and in the surrounding municipalities. The gendarmerie, town halls, hunting associations, veterinarians and even wine owners have been informed of the disappearance.
Elan, being an operational dog, beyond the emotional impact, his disappearance is detrimental to the intervention capacity of the dog teams of the SDIS, the departmental fire and rescue service of the Gironde. He specializes in searching among rubble. He is also a trail dog. Hence the appeal launched this Friday. People with information, having seen or found Elan are invited to contact the fire brigade on 05 56 17 59 18 or to get closer to the nearest rescue center.
