On May 24, 1921, 7 am, in the family home of Mirambet in Gajac (Gironde), Jacqueline was born, bringing joy to the home of her parents, Anita and Jacques Duthuron, then mayor of the town.
She attended the municipal school in Gajac until 1934, when her father died accidentally.
She becomes a boarder at Saint-Joseph de Bazas. During the Second World War, she lived in the free zone but she was worried about her sister Andothe, living in Houtmont, in the north of France at the heart of the fighting. Jacqueline decides to join her for six months. There, she will experience the bombing.
Back in Gajac, she met André Barthe through a mutual friend and they married on July 27, 1946 while André was still a student. From their union, will be born your two children, Christine in 1947 and Jacques in 1952.
Then will come three grandchildren: Deva, Juliette and Louis. André, having had the opportunity to go to petroleum school, finds a job when the Lacq field begins to operate. Suddenly, the family moved to Pau in 1952 and remained there until André retired in 1982.
Botany: his passion
Having inherited a forest property, Jacqueline is passionate about forestry and creates, in her house in Mirambet, a remarkable park with rare and diverse species from all over the world.
Gardening, flowers and trees occupy him full time. Jacqueline has recently been living at the “Le Temps de vivre” nursing home in Grignols. But she returns regularly to Mirambet, where her son lives.
