The track of the “family drama” is favored by the prosecution, pending the result of the autopsies carried out on Wednesday. The man allegedly killed his 48-year-old girlfriend “before turning the gun on himself”.
A note was also found, addressed to their child, a 14-year-old girl, who was not in the house at the time of the tragedy. His father had written on it to be “at the end of the line”. He also apologized and asked the child not to enter the parental bedroom. The bodies were discovered by another person who was alerted by the girl.
As explained the newspaper South West, the young girl was taken care of by a psychological cell and transported to the Bordeaux University Hospital. His temporary placement in the pediatric service was ordered by the prosecution, before referral to a juvenile judge.
No history of domestic violence was found in the criminal record of the 50-year-old.
