On this day, companies and institutions are called to present career guidance offers to students from the fifth to the ninth grade. Girls and boys should be especially familiar with atypical gender jobs. This means that girls should mainly have the opportunity to get an insight into technical and scientific professions, while boys can get an insight into social, educational or nursing professions in particular.
Girls’ Day/Boys’ Day is worthwhile for students, but also for companies. The action day makes a contribution to career guidance and gender-sensitive study for schoolchildren and opens up new perspectives for their professional future for young people.
