NEW YORK – Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl in the New York City subway by pointing a knife in the middle of an afternoon last month, authorities say.
The girl was on a train No. 4 northbound approaching East 149th Street and Grand Concourse Station in the Bronx around 3:30 pm on October 18th, which would be around the time school ended when a stranger approached him.
According to police, the man showed her a knife and, in Spanish, warned her to shut up, then proceeded to feel her leg, waist and buttocks before getting off the train at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium stop.
The boy was not physically injured, police said. They posted a sketch of the suspect (above).
