girl-streamer connected an EEG device to her brain to play Elden Ring with the power of thought

Blogger Jake Lucky noticedthat British-Canadian streamer Perri, aka perrikaryal, has found a very unusual way to play an open-world action role-playing game Elder Ring.

To strike in the game, Perry uses an electroencephalography (EEG) machine that monitors the bioelectrical activity of the brain through electrodes on the surface of the head.

In-game actions are tied to certain types of brain activity: by focusing enough, perrikaryal can force his hero to cast a spell or take a sip from a healing flask with literally the power of thought.

As you can see from the gameplay snippet above, Perry doesn’t use a controller or a dance mat hidden off-screen to attack – more popular way to play into hardcore action games from FromSoftware.

It is worth noting that during intense fights, the girl shouts out the desired actions aloud, but Elden Ring does not respond to voice commands – only to specific brain activity.

In conversation with Lucky perrikaryal confessedthat it takes more than one hour to train the brain to perform each action: so far she has mastered only the attack and treatment button, but in the future she hopes to connect other abilities.

To follow Perry’s attempts to harness the EEG machine and complete Elden Ring using the power of his mind, visit Twitch channel girls. In such an unusual way, the streamer has already played for more than a dozen hours.
