KOUDEKERKE – The KNRM spent some time on Friday evening looking for a missing girl at the beach at Koudekerke. The girl was eventually found in good health.
The rescue company was alerted around 7:10 p.m. on Friday that an 8-year-old girl was missing on the beach at Koudekerke. The crews of the lifeboats Zeemanshoop from Breskens and the Redder from Westkapelle were then called upon to set up a search.
The police also sent a message via Burgernet with the request to look out for the child. When the lifeboat the Rescuer of the post in Westkapelle was busy making searches, the message came in that the girl had been found in good health. The alarm was then lifted and all rescuers were allowed to return to their posts.
