Piacenza, 26 October 2024 – Turning point ininvestigation on the death of the 13 year old who yesterday fell from the roof of a building in Piacenza: was investigated and received a warranty notice the 15 year old who was with her and who stayed for a long time yesterday questioned and then released in the night.
The inquiry is for voluntary homicide.
The young man is defended by the lawyer Ettore Mainiwhile the girl’s mother goes to the lawyer Lorenza Dordoni.
L’autopsy is set for Monday at the Bologna Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, the task will be entrusted to the coroner Giovanni Cecchetto.
Fell from the balcony at 13 years old
The tragedy happened yesterday: the very young high school student of Albanian origin is fell from the balcony of the house in a condominium courtyard. The condominium is located in via IV Novembre near the city walls of Piacenza.
“At the moment it is not yet possible express oneself on the accidental or voluntary nature of the fall, nor whether it was caused by third parties – the prosecutor explained this morning Giuseppe Di Giorgio.
The investigations
“Close investigations” by the police are underway for reconstruct what happened through technical assessments on places and about things seizedincluding the mobile phone of the girl and the hearing of people informed about the facts.
The investigations in particular are focusing on the “dynamics and movements of the minor in the hours preceding the fall as well as evaluating the possible involvement of peers”.

The 15-year-old questioned by the police
The 15-year-old under investigation had been interviewed at the Carabinieri headquarters during the night and then released.
The young man he was present at the time of the tragedy and the victim would have had a relationship with him that he perhaps intended to end.
The 15-year-old was held until night and questioned by investigators coordinated by the head of the Piacenza Prosecutor’s Office Grazia Pradella and by the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office for Minors who arrived yesterday afternoon from Bologna. The boy, released, was able to return home.
His version – according to what the newspaper Libertà reports – would be a voluntary gesture on the girl’s partwhose body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pavia for an autopsy.
