Security camera footage shows 17-year-old Hailey Monicio throwing herself at the bear, who is walking with her two bears on the backyard fence as the family’s dogs frantically try to chase her away. The girl pushes the predator with her bare hands.
She later said that at that moment she thought only of how to protect her dogs and did not think about whether she herself was in danger.
