Girgenson reached the limit of half a thousand games in the Buffalo Sabers match against the Detroit Red Wings (3: 4 overtime), spending more than 17 minutes on the court and earning a negative efficiency of -1.
This season in 11 matches Zemgum has six points (3 + 3), but in the NHL career – 144 (64 + 80). Sandis Ozoliņš (875), Kārlis Skrastiņš (832), Sergejs Žoltoks (588) and Artūrs Irbs (568) have more games from Latvians in the regular tournament, but Zemgus is the first to have 500 games in one club.
