Paolo Villaggio, Raffaella Carrà, Rita Pavone and Teddy Reno are the protagonists of Giovanni Minoli’s retrospective journey through the history of his topical gravure in “Mixer. Twenty years of television”, broadcast on Thursday 16 March in the late evening on Rai 3 and Wednesday 22 March in prime time on Rai Storia.
Strong emotions in the 1985 “Face to face” with Paolo Villagio, in which the creator of Fantozzi abandons the mask of the comedian to tell his experience as the father of a drug addict and to send a message of closeness and love to the boys and above all to the their families who are experiencing the same situation as him. He then dwells, in particular, on the Community of San Patrignano, where his son was being treated at that time, defending the work of its founder Vincenzo Muccioli, to finally reveal how he managed to make the public laugh anyway during that complex period on a personal level. In the same year, the “Face to face” with Raffaella Carrà, in which the great showgirl tackles various themes, such as the choice between career and family, insecurities about her physical appearance, the relationship with money and feminism.
For “Mixer Psico”, Sandra Milo invites Rita Pavone and Teddy Reno to her swimming pool to talk about love: the famous couple tells the secrets of their relationship both in the workplace and in the private sphere.
The episode closes with the Mixerabili with sketches, among others, by Syusy Blady, Patrizio Roversi and Vito (Stefano Bicocchi).
