Giovanni Ferro says the Polish international never intended to leave the club

Giovanni Ferro, businessman who represents Nicola Zalewski, this Friday praised Daniele de Rossi, new coach of AS Roma, after the dismissal of José Mourinho, highlighting that the arrival of the former Giallorossi footballer allowed the Polish international to return to the position that he has been accustomed to since his training years.
“Zalewski never wanted to leave in the winter market, that’s not true, he always supported the club. De Rossi made him return to his original position, the one he was used to since he was a child, and now we hope he makes the leap quality. If he is in a position closer to the opponent’s goal it can only be beneficial for him and the team, because he is fast and energetic, so the fewer defensive obligations he has, the more he can express his qualities on the field”, he said, in statements cited by the ‘Football Italia’ portal.
This season, the 22-year-old has played 22 games, during which time he has added two assists.
