Giorgio Ramadhan (24), Fortuner car driver who went on a rampage and damaged a Honda Brio car in Senopati, South Jakarta, opened their voices. He claimed that he was hit first by the yellow Brio driven by Ari Widianto.
Through his attorney, Revi Laracaka, Giorgio clarified that his client’s Fortuner vehicle did not enter the other lane, but the road at the TKP was two-way. He also explained, at that time his client’s vehicle was driving on Jalan Senopati. Arriving at the crime scene, the yellow Brio grazed his client’s Fortuner.
“His front bumper to the right of our client’s car. When the collision occurred, our client panicked and felt traumatized because he was often the victim of hit-and-runs and did not want the incident to happen again,” said Revi in his statement, Monday (13/2/2023).
Instead of apologizing, the Brio driver cursed his client, then left the location.
“The driver of the Brio car opened the window and cursed at our client while driving the car,” he said.
At that time his client wanted to ask the Brio driver to be responsible for this. However, because Brio kept going, his client finally turned around and stopped Brio.
“When they caught up, Fortuner pushed Brio’s car from the right and asked the Brio driver to open the window and asked the Brio driver to take responsibility,” he said.
At that time, his client asked the Brio driver to open the window and get out. However, due to being ignored, his client finally took the toy firearm and fencing sword that were in his car and damaged the yellow Brio.
“These two objects were in the car because our client had just finished the sports activity,” he said.
Since there was still no response, Giorgio then got into the car and crashed his car into a yellow Brio, then left the scene.
Sorry about the Damage
Giorgio Ramadhan apologized for his actions. This was conveyed by his attorney, Revi Laracaka, and a press statement entitled ‘clarification by the team of attorney Giorgio Ramadhan’.
Revi said his client had apologized to the victim. According to him, Giorgio Ramadhan had no intention of destroying it.
