They are strong and independent, and have made important choices at the “crossroads” of life. This season, four women come together to star in a new miniseries: extraordinary women of different ages, backgrounds and walks of life whose stories captivate and inspire audiences.
Set against the backdrop of a town, the main characters share their stories in increasingly intimate and engaging ways. The season is led by visual director and artist Jenn Nkiru, who won a Grammy in 2021 for directing Beyoncé’s music video for “Brown Skin Girl”.
Through the Giorgio Armani Crossroads project, the talent and personality of today’s women are showcased and the power of women is respected.
Paola Cortellesi is an Italian actress, screenwriter and director. She made her television debut in the early 1990s before moving to films where she displayed a wide range of talents. She has won many awards during her career, including three Italian Film Awards (David di Donatello) and four Silver Ribbon Awards (Nastri d’Argento). In 2023, she directed her first film “C’è ancora domani” (C’è ancora domani), which was a very challenging task from a personal and professional point of view. The film was an international success, highlighting her charisma and wisdom in dealing with complicated situations.

Mayte is an American dancer, actress and singer. She debuted as a professional dancer in 2017 with her stunning performance in the music video for NERD’s single “Lemon” featuring Rihanna, which became her career. In 2023, Mayte released the music video for her single “Mama’s Eyes”, which perfectly combined her performance with original music and marked her important transformation from dancer to singer.
Tan Zhuo
Tan Zhuo is one of the most famous artists and actors in China. She began her film career in 2009 with “Spring Fever”, where she was nominated for best actress at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival. Over the years since then, she has been involved in many excellent and influential film and television roles.
