Giorgia, Article 31, Elodie, Colapesce Dimartino, Ariete, Modà, Mara Sattei, Leo Gassmann, the Cousins of Campagna, Mr Rain, Marco Mengoni are the names of the first eleven Big names competing in the 73rd edition of the Sanremo Festival (February 7-11) announced by Amadeus on Tg1 at 1.30pm.
Anna Oxa, Lazza, Tananai, Paola and Chiara, Lda, Madame, Gianluca Grignani, Rosa Chemical, Coma Cose, Levante, Ultimo are the names of the other eleven Big of Sanremo 2023 announced by Amadeus on Tg1 at 1.30pm.
From the final of Sanremo Giovani there will be six singers who will access the Ariston among the Big, announced Amadeus.

Sanremo 73, therefore, as a representative cross-section of the Italian music scene, but not only. Word of the artistic director Amadeus who, on Tg1, announced the list of 22 Big names in the competition to which will be added the 6 winning artists of the young Sanremo contest broadcast on Rai 1, Radio2 and RaiPlay from the Sanremo Casino Theater on 16 December. During the evening of 16 December, which provides for the presence of the Champions in the competition, Amadeus will also communicate the titles of the songs of the next Festival. “The Sanremo Festival must focus on tradition that is essential for its strength, but also, if not above all, on young people. In a concrete way: giving them a real opportunity. Putting them on the pitch and making them play as starters”, commented Amadeus hotly after having unveiled the first 22 Big in the race. The Bigs will participate with 28 unpublished songs and will perform in groups of 14 on the first and second evening of the Festival. In the third evening, that of Thursday, the 28 Champions will perform all together, while on Friday, in the fourth evening, they will perform a piece taken from the Italian and international music repertoire of the 60s/70s/80s/90s (each singer with another artist ). Then new performance on Saturday during the final evening. Also on Saturday, after the voting, the 3-man final to contend for victory in the Champions category.
