Ginette Reno left the hospital

Ginette Reno was released from the hospital.

The famous singer was hospitalized last Wednesday at the Pierre-Boucher Hospital, in Longueuil, after suffering a heart attack.

The star confided on his state of health to his fans, on his Facebook page. Here is his message:

« I’m back home

My medication has been adjusted and I’m like new.

It was all so sudden that I still do not understand all the ins and outs of the experience I just went through. I wake up after six days spent elsewhere, in an establishment where you can die, but from which it is also possible to come out more alive than when you arrived.

I finally came home. I came home, but am I really home?

Our habits are living entities. When an event disrupts our daily life and our rituals, however harmless they may be, our entire existence – including that of our loved ones – is turned upside down.

A chair is a chair, even if we sit on it millions of times. I remember the day when, for the first time in my life, I bought a chair at a certain price. It was around the time when I was just starting to make money, and my mom had come over to the house just to see my new acquisition. I pointed out to him that I had paid a fair amount for this chair, but that did not seem to impress him. She sat down and just said to me, “At least she’s comfortable, it’s not just adornment.” “

Throughout the pandemic, I never put my jewelry back on and often I wondered who I was wearing it for: for myself or for others?

All my life, I have asked myself lots of questions. Did I ask myself the right ones? And have I found the correct answers? Sometimes I had to live the questions a bit before the answers followed.

I believed for a long time that I was an impostor, that I had no right to exist, to simply be there. I constantly asked others for permission to live, as if I had no right to do so. I worked hard on myself and on others.

Basically, what I want to tell you today is simple: I am proud of my career, proud to be still alive, proud to be part of Life.

Thank you for all the energy you have put in to get my health back in hand. The last few days have brought me to meet new people; it did me good, a lot of good. Thank you from the heart. Thank you with all my soul and with all my body.

With all the ardor of which I am capable, I hug you very tightly and thank you for keeping me alive.

I have never felt my heart beat so much.
